Baby loves fish. Dead or Alive.
She loves seeing little fishes swimming in the aquarium.
She loves feeding grandma's peacock fish on every visit.
She loves playing with the fierce little blood parrot fish at hometown which charges back when baby tap on the glass.
She loves visiting the fishmonger and
She loves eating fish.
She will request for fish whenever there's fish served on the dining table. She can finish almost 1/2 of the salmon steak served at IKEA, sitting obediently and eating on her own.

Switching back to Porridge
Baby has not been eating her rice recently especially after a few weeks on and off illness. I am having a hard time feeding her with rice. Running after her all around the house and only managed to feed her a few spoonful of rice. Hence we decide to switched her back to porridge. The porridge as before, consist mainly a small piece of pork or chicken, some carrots, tomatoes, cauliflower and broccoli.
It's really happy to see her finishing at least 1 1/2 bowl (rice bowl size) of porridge during dinner time now although some chasing around is still required but that usually happens after she wallop up 1 bowl of porridge.

Dressing Up and Down
Few months ago, baby had learned to take off her diapers before each bathing session.
Recently, she had learned to take off her pants too! All by herself.
Few days ago, baby surprised me when she managed to wear her own pajamas pants without me helping.
She will sit at the side of her bed, put her little legs through the hole, stand up and pull the pants up. The back part of the pants will usually get stucked under her diapers tough but it's really a big achievement for baby.

C.O.L.O.R.S
Baby is very fond of drawings and colors.
She started scribbling with pencil and color pencils when she is 18 months old.
Later when she is introduced to crayons, she went mad about it. However, what she enjoys more is to peel off the little piece of wrapper on the crayons!
To make drawings more fun, i put up a very big cardboard on one of the walls in our study room and draws all sort of pictures that baby is familiar with. She loves to request me tracing her little feet and hands. I even managed to traced baby from head to toe in one of the corner. It acts well as a measurement of her height.
Recently, baby is fond of watercolors. She doesn't really color a lot but loves to mess around with the bottle of water instead. Pouring water into the color plate, spill in onto the stack of newspaper and draw with her little hands. Maybe i should start doing handprints with her. Lets see how it goes.

High Fever of 39 - 40c
Baby was down with high fever a day after our trip back to Johor.
The fever came suddenly when baby woke up early in the morning.
7 December 2010
8:30am - Baby was a bit heaty but she remains cheerful and plays well.
11:00am - Baby's temperature goes up to 39c. She was given a dose of 3ml PCM.
2:30pm - Baby's temperature remains high. She was given a dose of Veron.
4:00pm - Veron takes effect. Baby's temperature finally subside.
6:30pm - Baby's temperature rise again. Veron which is supposed to work for 6-8 hours had failed.
7:30pm - Baby was brought to the child specialist. Her temperature reaches 40.5c and she was given another dose of Veron. Doctor diagnosed baby as having viral infection.
10:30pm - Baby's temperature remains at 38c level. She was given a dose of 3ml PCM.

3:30am - Baby's temperature rosed to 39c again! She was given a dose of 3ml PCM however both me and hubby started to get panic and decided to sent baby to the Hospital.
4:15am - Reached hospital and baby's temperature remains at 39.4c. Doctor at the emergency ward gave her another dose of Veron.
This time, the medication finally succeed in lowering baby's temperature and she managed to sleep well throughout the journey back home until the next morning.
We will need to send baby back to the hospital for blood test if the fever boils up again. Pray hard that baby will recover soon.

Advise on the use of Veron.
- Max tablet per day = 3 (use one at 8 hours interval when necessary)
- If fever strikes before 8 hours time, use liquid PCM instead and only use Veron 4 hours after liquid PCM.

Baby sleeps through the whole morning. The last dose of veron works for 8.5 hours and high fever of 39c strikes again around 1 noon. She vomited half way through her milk intake and had smelly, black poo.
1:30pm : Another dose of Veron is given to baby. Baby is weak as she had only consume water and some soup for the whole day. Her body is slightly colder than normal temperature.
9:30pm : Baby encounter slight feverish at around 38.3c.
10:30pm: A dose of 3ml PCM was given as baby is refusing Veron. She don't even allowed me to touch her diapers and clean her buttock.

I Am Not Afraid Of The Wave
Hubby's hometown is surrounded by wonderful beaches. Everytime we went home, we will surely spend some time at the beach.
1st visit to the beach, baby was terrified. She won't even dare to put her legs on the soft sand.
2nd visit to the beach, baby managed to sit on the sand and play with her sand tools.
3rd visit to the beach, baby managed to walk on the sand but still reluctant to go near the waves/sea.
4th visit to the beach (few days ago), baby runs on the beach and managed to stand at the sea side waiting for the waves to wash her little feet.
I think the next visit to the beach, baby will runs towards the sea without me holding her hands.

22 months old
Baby will be turning 22 months old in a few days time.
She currently weights 10kg and 83cm tall.
She is drinking 6 to 7.5 ounces of milk 2 to 3 times a day with snacks and mini meals in between.
She loves chocolate, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, kiwi, banana, soup, duck meat and long beans.
She still can't sit still and finish her meal at the dining table.
She loves watching Hi-5 and Barney and will always moves with the music beat.
She loves patriotic songs and advertisements shown on TV.
She can watch movie in the cinema from start to end without making a fuss.
She loves water play and enjoys bathing time.
She is not potty trained yet and still soils her diapers.
She is very talkative and loves to report to me what she did with her limited vocab.
She loves helping with the household chores. Mopping, sweeping, wiping and even watering the plants.
She knows how to grab a stool, put it near the wash basin, climb up the stool, turn on the tap and wash her hands.

Bath Time
Bath time = Water Play time for baby.
I will usually allowed baby to sit in a big bucket of water and have some water play during bath time. Baby is really a water baby. She is not scared of water. I can easily wash her hair by pouring water straight on top of her head. She will automatically tilt her head downwards and cover her face with her hand.
Recently, she even dare to stand under the shower and shower like an adult.
She can also shampoo her hair after i pour some shampoo on her hair.
She will also rub soap on her body, hands and legs.
She loves the bubbles from the shampoo and soap and will request for more.
I will usually allowed her to play longer when it's a hot day outside and when she asked for more with a sweet 'please'.

I had been taking baby's photo since she is few hours old.
Recently, she had developed a habit of tucking her head to the right when i asked her to post for the camera.
I am not sure where she learn it but she sure looks cool in such post.

I am very glad to have an experienced and loving babysitter family.
They teaches baby a lot of things and love her very much.
Baby is now able to differentiate a lot of objects and animals. She will point out to the trees, moon, stars, cat, dog, car, lorry, bus, flower...etc during our ride in the car.
She can even follow me saying out alphabet by alphabet from A to Z and counting from 1 to 10.
I am not sure whether it's just a coincedence but whenever i say one, baby will follow by saying two. When i continue with three, she will says four.

A day at 1-Utama
Me and hubby baby sitted my three niece and nephew - H, N and F on Saturday. I gave them a choice either to go for an indoor or outdoor activity. After a short voting session, we end up heading towards 1-Utama.
It is around 11:30am when we reached. We headed straight to Starship Galatica located one floor below the GSC cinema. This is the second visit for H and N while the first for F and baby.The entrance fees are RM20 for weekend/ public holidays and RM18 for weekdays without any time limit.There are only a few kids around when we entered. At first, baby played along well with the balls at the ball pit. She even went on the big piano and the slides. However, this lasted only for a few minutes as baby was horrified when she heard the sound of the air gun. She started to hug me like a koala bear. No matter what i say or how i try, she won't dare to play on her own again.
We stayed at the Starship Galatica for about 1 hour and decided to get some lunch at McDonalds. Baby managed to finish 2 pieces of nugget and some fries all by herself.
We continued our day with a short visit to Toy'R'Us followed by Popular book shop.
Baby doozed off around 3pm on her stroller while we were at the book shop.
The day didn't ends here as we managed to get some tickets to watch "Megamind" at TGV.
Baby woke up when we were about to enter the cinema. I thought she will fall back to sleep with the dark and cool surroundings however she stayed focus and watched the whole movie without making a fuss.
By the time we left 1- Utama, it is already 5:45pm.
All of us had a great day.

Staircase accident
Baby loves to join her cousins upstairs playing Wii.
She will always be very excited and climb up the stair alone to join in the fun.
Recently, baby is walking up and down the stairs like an adult. She is not holding on to any of the baluster eventhough i had reminded her to do so everytime i am with her while on the stairs.
Yesterday night, baby falls for the first time from the stairs. No one knows what and how it happens as we are all busy with our dinner. I saw baby walking upwards the stair but less than one minute later when i myself reached the stairs, i saw baby in an awkward position and knew instantly that baby had fallen. She was supporting herself with her arm on one of the steps and she starts to cry loudly.
Hubby was shocked to see a little patch of red at the corner of baby's lips. Luckily, it's just the stains from the dragon fruit that baby took a while ago. Thank goodness baby suffers no injuries.
She is now very careful while going up and down the stairs and will always asked to be held or be carry.

Picky eater
Baby has developed a very bad eating habit recently.
She will refused to take her dinner which usually consist of rice, fish, carrot and soup.
She will always push my hands aways when i try to feed her and continue to mess up other counsins bowl of rice sitting next to her. She will starts to scoop the rice from the counsin's bowl, scoop the soup from the big bowl to other dishes and make a fuss when i stop her doings.
I will then have to chase her all around the house trying to feed her a few more spoon of rice. If i am lucky, she will finish half the bowl that way.
However when it comes to cookies, yougart, ice cream, cheese, chocolate and fries, she will be more than delighted to feed herself and will always asked for more.

Cough
Me and baby was down with cough recently.
The cough becomes severe especially during night time.
Both of us are like a pair of choo choo train during midnight where we will cough along with each other.
In hope to aid in lessen the midnight cough session, both of us enjoys rubbing vicks under our feets and wears the same color socks to sleep.
Hope that both of us will recover soon.

Huggies Play Tent
The Huggies Play Tent that i redeem finally arrived last Friday. It came earlier than i expected.
Baby was excited to see the elephant play tent filled with the Intex plastic ball that we previously purchased.
However, she enjoys more if daddy or mummy is with her inside.

Poo Poo funny accident

Baby reluctant to sit on her potty to poo poo.
We had tried a lot of ways to train her but failed.
Last Saturday when baby was having the urged to poo poo, i striped her off her pants and diapers and put her potty near her.
As usual, she won't want to sit on her potty and will run around playing with her toys.
I was busy doing some household chores near her while monitoring her.
Suddenly, baby rushed and sit on her potty when her poo poo is coming out. I was happy to see what she did and praised her. However, after 1 small poo poo, she reluctant to sit on her potty anymore! She stood up and told me 臭臭! No matter what i said to her, she refused to sit on her potty anymore!
I was going mad as there are more poo poo handing on her buttock, coming out! Yikes!

Finger pointing
Baby had developed a very bad habit recently.
She will make a very angry face and point her finger to the person she is angry with she is angry.
This always happens when baby and cousins are 'fighting' for the same toy.
Yesterday , family members especially me, hubby and grandma started to scold and hit baby's hand when she did the finger pointing. Baby cry so loud when we did it and will run to whoever who didn't punished her for comfort.
This went on for a few times throught the 2 hours stay at granparents house.
Me and hubby didn't expect to do much harm to baby but baby wake up in the middle of the night crying as if she is being scold. Baby is having nightmare!

Ball pit
Baby loves ball more than anything else.
She will run to the ball pitch whenever we are at the toy section of any departmental store.
She loves to kick the ball, throw the ball and even bounce on the ball.
Seeing her loves for balls gives me an idea of making baby her very own ball pitch at home.
There is already a very big box which baby is playing in. What i need is plastic color balls!
After weeks of searching, i finally found what i wanted.

Baby loves to watch Hi-5 and Barney.
Every morning when she wakes up, she will request to watch Hi-5 or Barney even before drinking her milk.
She can now dance along with the Hi-5 opening theme song and gives you hugs and kisses when Barney sings his good-bye song.

Magnetic books
I remember reading about magnetic books at one of the mommies blog some times ago and loves the idea. I started searching for magnetic books and was happy to find a few at the Popular Book Store.
I bought two from a series of five and introduce it to my girl. The title of the book is "The Zoo" and "Playground". I chooses these two because these are things that baby are familiar with.
Baby loves the books especially "The Zoo". I eventually went through the book with her almost every night before our trip to the Zoo with hope that she can be familiarised with the animals.
I am surprised how fast baby learn. She can now remember all the animals in the book and put it back in order.
Seeing her interest on the book makes me spend another trip back to the book store to get two more from the series. This time i got her the "Transport" and "Under The Sea".
Baby loves all of them.
I bought two from a series of five and introduce it to my girl. The title of the book is "The Zoo" and "Playground". I chooses these two because these are things that baby are familiar with.
Baby loves the books especially "The Zoo". I eventually went through the book with her almost every night before our trip to the Zoo with hope that she can be familiarised with the animals.
I am surprised how fast baby learn. She can now remember all the animals in the book and put it back in order.

Gardening
Baby's latest favourite outdoor activity is to do gardening.
I will usually alllowed her to play at the car porch area when i am busy cleaning the car porch or am doing the laundry.
She will then take hubby's shoes from the shoe shelf, wear it and play with the bucket of soil.
She will use the spade to spade out soil from one bucket to another and then pour the soil to other flower pots.
Sometimes, she will even water the plants with the watering pots.
If she accidently pour soil onto the floor, she will even fetch the broom to sweep it clean!

Crazy for shoes
Baby loves shoes.
One of her recently activities at home while i am busy hanging clothes in front of the house is to try on each and every pair of shoes that she can get her hands to.
She will takes hubby's sports shoes, put it on herself and walk a few steps or go around my car and then changes another pair and walk around again.
Clever baby will even put it back in places.
She can also find the same pair of shoes from a pile of shoes at grandma's shoe cabinet.
And she loves big sister's Chinese wooden sandals.

Milk Transition
Baby had tried a few milk/soy powder.
She was first under Similac when she was few months old. Later she was under Isomil till about 12 months old due to watery stool. When she reaches 14 months old, i tried maintaining her Isomil intake twice and one intake of Snow at night. Everything turns out fine hence i decided to give baby full intake of Snow. After a week or two, baby's stool become watery again and she is put back to Isomil and Snow.
Recently, i tried to introduce her to Sustagen Junior (Vanilla). I gave her Sustagen alternately with Snow. After a week consuming, so far everything looks fine.
Hope that baby can be transitted to full Sustagen intake soon.

Baby started to craves for chocolate ever since grandma gave her a slice of the chocolate Hari Raya cookies.
She will want to have at least 2 to 3 slice of the chocolate cookies whenever she is at grandma's house.
Besides that, she loves Kit Kat too. She can even pronounced Kit Kat.
Her cravings doesn't ends here. She also prefers chocolate Gardenia twiggies instead of the vanilla flavored ones.
Just hope that she will be able to drink more water after each chocolate 'feast'. She is always low in water consumption.

A day at Singapore Zoo

We had a short trip to the Singapore Zoo during our 2 days 1 night trip to Singapore.
It wasn't a very pleasent day for a Zoo visit as it is raining cats and dogs when we finally found our way to the Zoo.
We bought ourselves raincoats so that we can still go around animal spotting under the rain.
Baby doesn't like the idea of going under the rain coat. I had a hard time persuading her to do so.
We had a very wet time going around the Zoo in such rainy weather. Wearing a rain coat myself while carrying baby around is not an easy job.
Luckily the rain stops around 1:30pm and we managed to get a few decent photos of baby (without the rain coat) with the animals, join in one of the many shows for the day and also see animals walopping up their meals just after the feeding time.
Baby learns a lot after the visit to the Zoo. She can now recognised Elephant, Zebra, Giraffee, Monkey, Rabbit and many more!

4th Hair Cut

Brought baby to her 4th hair cut.
She can now sits still on her own on the high chair and let Aunty Barber do her wonders to her hair.
Baby's hair looks fuller and tidier after the cut and she was rewarded with a big piece of cake which she finished up on the way home.

I- City Shah Alam

It's the start of the long Hari Raya break.
We paid a visit to the famous I-City of Shah Alam.
The place was crowded. We didn't expect so many people to be there!
Baby was very excited seeing so many beautiful lights. She went 'WWWAAAAHHHH' all the way througout the park and she sounds so cute!
She will still goes 'WWWAAAHHHH' when i show her the pictures that we took at I-City.

Building Blocks
Hubby bought a big box of building blocks for baby.
He always prefer building blocks and lego and wanted baby to sit still and play instead of running around like a mad cow.
The set of building blocks is made of wood. It comes in rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, pyramids and cylinders in color and original wood.
Baby loves the blocks. She loves to pour is all out and scatter it all over the place. To make tidying up easier, i will usually put her and the blocks inside the big cardboard tray so that all the blocks will remains inside.
Both me and hubby had been showing baby how to stack the blocks. All this while, she prefers destroying our stacked blocks instead of stacking it. She loves the sound of the falling blocks.
Few days ago, while i check on baby after being a bit busy at the kitchen, i was surprised to see a tall and beautifully stacked blocks. Baby finally did it all by herself and she chooses nothing but cylinder. Good job.

Sleeping Time
Baby is having longer sleep time lately.
She can sleep from 11pm to 8:30am to 9am in the morning.
She had also grown out from her usual twice nap time of 45 minutes to 1 hours per day to one nap time of average 2 and a half to 3 hours per day.
It's really a heartache for me to wake her up at 7:30am during my working days. She will usually make a fuss and thank god she continue to sleep after i transfer her from her bed to the living room sofa and then to her car seat. Sometimes, she will even sleep again after reaching the baby sitter.
I am a bit worried about her being so tired. She only started to be like that after we moved to our new home. However, she continues to be very active and eats well after she is wide awake. Just hope that it's just another transition and not something to do with the 'feng shui' of the house.

Sick
28 - 29 August 2010
Baby was down with fever 1 week after the Hepathitis A injection.
This is the first time she refused to take her medicine. She had to be hold tightly in order for me to feed her.
Baby became very clingy and cry a lot. She even refused to drink her milk. Luckily babysitter had her own way in feeding her and managed to make her drink her two serving while baby sited.
I am lucky to find a good baby sitter and family members who loves and care for baby like part of their family members.

Soiled Diapers

Baby had not been using her potty for the past few month especially when she need to do her big business.
She loves to run and hide at the corner when she wants to poo.
Even tough we force her to sit on her potty for more than half an hour, she still prefers to soil her diapers.
Sometimes, we didn't even noticed that she had pooed and she end up having rashes.
After being scold by me for a few times for the past few days, baby finally learned to inform me when she poo on her diapers.
She will point to the bathroom, says 臭臭 and runs towards the bathroom while saying 洗洗.
Baby had not been using her potty for the past few month especially when she need to do her big business.
She loves to run and hide at the corner when she wants to poo.

Mastering new skills

Baby had mastered jumping.
She loves to jump when she heard music and see others people dancing/jumping as shown on TV.
She loves seeing the cheer leaders performing on TV and will definitely jump with them when she sees it.
Baby had mastered nodding her head too.
When she wants something and when i asked her "Yes" or "No", she will nod her head for "Yes" and usually shout out "No" for "No".
There's once, i asked her a "Yes" or "No" question when she is lying on her bed.
She needs to sit up properly to give me a big nod for "Yes".
Baby is so cute.

Baby went for her jab last Saturday.
She is now 18 months 3 weeks old and weight 10.2kg and height 80cm.
She remains strong and didn't even shred a tears when given the jab.
However, baby felt tired and eat less after the jab.
Her next jab will be in 5 months time.
Hopefully she will remains strong then.

Baby loves to jump on her cot recently.
She giggles happily and bounce furiously.
Her laughter brighten up my heart but on the other hand, i am worried that the ancient cot will not stand such harsh treatment.

Cups, Bowls, Mugs... Baby's new toys

Baby loves to play with bowls, cups and mugs recently.
She will request for at least 2 to 3 of the above combination and pour water from one to another before drinking it.
She will request to drink from my drinking bottle too!
Although she usually ends up wetting herself and the floor, she is drinking more this way.
So, no complaint from me. I just need to change her more often.
As for the wet floors, baby will usually wipe it dry herself.

7) Baby prefer drinking from a cup and had been ignoring using her sipping cup for the past week
8) Baby eating rice and vege/meat instead of porridge
9) New words spoken "嘴嘴", "two", "six", "see you", "我要吃"
10) Baby knows how to point to her mouth, eyes, nose and ears when asked
11) Baby can identify and says the word "bird" , "plane" and "raining" when she sees/heard one
12) Baby will says good bye and give a kiss when it's time to leave someone

A date with the family

Baby spent a wonderful time with Ah Gong, Ah Ma and all the cousins brother and sister.
She didn't even felt unease or scared seeing so many people that she is unfamiliar with and yet she can easily bond with them and already starts running around like she had been there everyday!
Baby seems to have a special bond with aged people, male, thin and with white hair. She loves playing with 小姑公， 舅公， 阿公。She runs towards them and hugs them/plays with them whenever they are around. She is really the center of attraction.

Hyper baby and a bad temper mommy

Me and Hubby were travelling in and out within our new home and furniture shops for the past few weekends.
Baby tagged along as usual. She had become so familiar with the furniture shops that she always refused to be hold/carry or in her stroller. She wants to explore the shops herself!
I am having a very hard time controlling my temper while limiting baby from venturing too far away.
At the end of the day, hubby bought a small rattan chair (which is the same design as our big rattan chair) just for his little princess. Baby loves it so much.

Evening at a man made beach

Baby spend a wondering weekend with the cousins at The Mines Wellness Hotel.
Grandparents are spending a night there and all the little kids are taking the opportunity to have a splash at the hotel's beach pool.
It takes some time for baby to be comfortable with the beach pool but eventually she loves it and felt reluctant to leave!
Baby even refused to take her evening milk and insisted to join the cousins for some bread and cake.

'Growing Up' fever

Baby was down with high fever since early morning.
Luckily we always had medicine ready in our shelves.
Baby doesn't seems weak at all and she managed to recover after a day.
It seems that baby is having another 'growing up' fever session again.
*p/s: Baby's all 4 Canine (Cuspid) teeth has erupted (Sequence of How Baby Teeth Come Out). She has a total of 16 teeth now.

2) She fetches my slippers and laid it nicely at the door for me.

She mimics me saying the words 哥哥， 姐姐， 妈妈， 爸爸 while looking through the photographs
She says 舅舅 and makes it sounds like 猪猪. Makes everyone burst to laughter.
p.s. Baby's 14th teeth is out!

Bedtime Routine

Baby knows how to say milk.
Every night when i ask her whether she wants her milk, she will says "nain nain" and then lay down on the bed and wait for her bottle of milk.
If we delay giving her the bottle, she will gets angry and demand for her bottle.
Baby is getting more and more hot temper and demanding these few nights.
Hope that she will goes back to her sleeping routine soon.
Baby knows how to say milk.
Every night when i ask her whether she wants her milk, she will says "nain nain" and then lay down on the bed and wait for her bottle of milk.
If we delay giving her the bottle, she will gets angry and demand for her bottle.
Baby is getting more and more hot temper and demanding these few nights.
Hope that she will goes back to her sleeping routine soon.

A day at Toy'R'Us

Baby had a great time at Toy'R'Us today.
She found a toy dog with a stick as a leash. Baby brings the toy dog running all over the shop and giggles so loud.
Besides that, she went on the slides no lesser than 10 times. She climbs up the stairs all by herself and slide down.
She was so tired after the visit to Toy'R's and managed to sleep on her stroller for almost 2 hours.

Baby knows how to express herself even better.
She knows how to shake her head but haven't master the skill of nodding yet. Hence, she will shakes her head no matter is a "YES" or "NO".
She will even answers 要 / 不要 and gets it correctly sometimes.

She mimics nieces and nephews calling out to their mummy.

It's a bad day for baby today.
She got hurt from the head to toe.
In the morning, she bangs herself to the door and hurts she forehead.
In the evening, mummy's fault and got her little leg stuck in between the bicycle wheel.
Ouch Ouch. Makes baby woke up crying so many times throughout the whole night.

3rd Haircut

Baby had her 3rd haircut today.
She sits properly on my lap and didn't make any fuss.

Baby is learning to express herself.
When she wants me to carry her around or wanted me to bring her something, she will come to me, cling on to me and try to pull my shirt or hair to make me get up from my chair/bed. She will continue pulling until i get up.

Baby calls baba when baba enter the main door after coming back from work.

Fruits

Baby loves fruits especially banana, watermelon and mango.
She is always the first one to get her bowl of freshly cut fruits during fruits time and will eat it using her fork and mostly her hands. Sometimes, she will even feed others with her fruits especially those solid one (i.e. apple & pear that she had difficulties biting).
She will says "baba" when she sees banana (still unable to pronounce banana.. and this makes daddy a bit mad)and she can almost finish 1 medium size banana by herself.

Baby has been running all over the house chasing with cousin brothers and sisters.
She will observed what the others are doing and follow everything they are doing.
Below is a list of things that baby did:-
1) Running from the front to the back of the house while screaming
2) Lying on the floor on her stomach while writing on her piece of paper
3) Trying to jump when she sees cousin brother jumping while playing Wii

Hometown

Traveling back to my in-laws house with baby is challenging especially when baby is not sleeping as much as before. She only slept twice with a total of around 2 hours throughout the 6-7 hours drive. She did climbed up and down her baby car seat once a while but she do sit still and played with her toys and read her books.
Baby had a great time during the long weekend. This time, she can cope with the change in environment very well unlike 3 months ago when she is 12 months old.
She runs all around the house and mix well with everyone. Grandpa is the most delighted one as baby wanted grandpa to carry her whenever she can.
* Baby still scared of the seaside.

Baby's new word for today. "我不要"
Hubby and I thought we heard it wrongly but baby did says the word.
Baby went over to the cupboard, bring out a can of food, hand it to me and ask me to 'open'.
When i shake my head and try to take the can away from her, she says "我不要"!

New Things everyday

Baby learn new things today.
She had been trying to do 'somersault' on the bed for the past few days and today she managed to do it all by herself!
Baby finally knows what 'open' means. She will hand me her packet of food. Force me to my hand and ask me to open it. 'Oooopen' that's how baby says it.
She is so cute!

Futsal

Today baby went for her 1st futsal game with mummy & colleague.
Baby had a great day today. Mummy bring baby's little red ball to share with other little kids. Baby run around the futsal court and mixed around with all the little kids. She even dose off for an hour on her stroller so that mummy can play a game or two.
Both baby and mummy enjoy the day and shared a cup of ice cream on the way home.

Baby is learning new words everyday.
Shoe Shoe, Xie Zi (shoe in Mandarin), Open, Hello, Baba, Mum Mum, MaMa, C C (Wash in Mandarin), Fishee, Mao Mao, Duck Duck, Teddy... are some of the words that she says almost everyday.
Whenever we say shoe shoe, she knows that we will be going out. She will go to the main door, collect her shoes from the shoe rack and sitting there at the floor waiting for us to help her with the shoes.
Whenever she wants to play with her stacking toys, she will hand it to us and ask us to 'open'
When she is washing her hands before and after meals, she will says 'C C'.
Sometimes, she will even sing along with her favorite songs.
The sweetest things of all....when i say 'kiss kiss', she will give me a long and wet mouth to mouth kiss. Heart melted immediately.

Self feeding

Baby is learning to feed herself. During mealtime, she wants to have her own bowl, fork, spoon and even chopsticks.
Today during dinner time, she sits on my lap and drinks her bowl of soup using a spoon. She makes funny sound while drinking and it makes everyone laugh.
She finished everything till the last drop.

Refused to Sleep

Baby is having a sleep time routine since few months back. She will goes to her room around 9:30pm. Clean up and changed, take her 4 ounce of milk and read her story books. I will usually hand her her pacifier, switch on the bedside light and off the main bedroom light and sing her to sleep around 10:30pm.
Today was one of those nights where baby refused to sleep. She cry like mad and cling on to me when i switch off the bedroom light. She starts pointing to the switch, requesting for me to turn it on. After i do so, she pointed to the small bedside light and requested me to switch it off! After that, she points to her books and request for one. She stops crying after i did what she wanted.
How smart and demanding she had grown up to be!

Baby is eating a lot of biscuit recently. She will climb up the dining chair just to get her hands on her biscuit container.
I bought her a new biscuit today. She loves it much. The biscuit is in animals shapes and there is a string attached to the box. Baby use the box as her new shopping bag. Putting in her phone and toys and there she goes! "Window shopping" all around the house.

Baby is currently having a itchy time due to teething. She is having her 11th teeth (bottom left side). She has been biting her hands and fingers and asking for her pacifier more frequently. Hopes that it will end soon.

Fussy eater

Baby is not taking her porridge these few days. She has been making a big mess during dinner time wanting to feed herself with her own spoon. I think i will need to try to feed her porridge for the very last time tonight and see how she reacts.

First Blog Entry

Welcome to my very first blog. Today marks a very special day for me to start this blog to keep track of my baby's developments.
Baby is now 15 months 2 weeks old. She is learning to speak more recently. Yesterday night when she finished her bottle of milk, me and hubby was so shocked to heard the little one saying 'Good Girl". That's what i usually praised her when she finish her milk! Two simple words melt our heart. Happy to see her developed so well.
